MemClick began with a simple problem at our own kitchen table.
Learners can work hard, understand a lesson, and do well on a test, yet find the same knowledge harder to recall months later when a new topic depends on it.
Built from an educator’s perspective
David Healy is a physician and educator who works in lifelong learning for doctors.
In medicine, important knowledge cannot simply disappear after an exam. Retrieval practice and spaced review are used to keep essential information available over time.
He wanted the same disciplined approach for the school courses his own children were taking.
That became MemClick: School Practice.

Understanding an idea once is important. Being able to retrieve it again later is a different skill, and it improves through practice.
School should remain the center
MemClick works alongside classroom teaching. It does not replace teachers, lessons, homework, or the learner’s own thinking.
Parents deserve a useful view
Parents should be able to understand what their learner is practicing and how that learning connects to the work ahead.
